Behind Megan Fox's "Transformers" ouster
For those mourning the absence of Megan Fox in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," you now know who to blame: Steven Spielberg. She was set loose from the franchise last year, soon after she disparaged director Michael Bay's style: "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. He's a nightmare to work for." Bay seethed in silence until Spielberg gave him a nudge. "She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry," Bay says of Fox's on-set habits. "And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven said, 'Fire her right now.'" Guess Bay was too dazzled by Fox's, um, attributes to come up with that solution himself.
